Welcome to the brand spanking new website of Foreness Waterski Club, we are a thriving club making the most of boat powered watersports.

The Club operates from our clubhouse on the lower promenade, Princes Walk, Palm Bay, in Cliftonville, Margate, Kent just off the B2051 Map. The designated waterski area is set in a large natural bay, below the shelter of chalk cliffs, between Margate and Broadstairs. It has been designated for powered water sports by Thanet District Council.

With the club's fantastic location the weather is normally not a problem in the summer months, our secluded bay protects the club from the elements, but if you're brave enough New Years Day and Boxing Day are not unpopular! For a relatively accurate weather report see the bottom of the page, there is also a link for local tide times.

The majority of this large bay is the designated Waterski Zone, a small area to the west is a Jet Ski Zone, operated by Jet-ski World. The water is accessible at all states of the tide using our club tractor facility. We can normally launch up to 23ft boats at any state of the tide, apart from the very low tides

Foreness is a great place to launch your boat, as we have Margate, Birchington, Herne Bay and Whitstable to our west. Around the coast heading east we have many lovely bays and coves such as Botany Bay, Joss bay, the old fishing town of Broadstairs, and the large marina at Ramsgate Harbour. Also further on is the historic port of Sandwich on the River Stour, all of these are just a short cruise from Foreness Bay.
